Congrats to David, a 2021 high school graduate! On this awesome senior photo session, we headed out to the Kimbell Art Museum in Fort Worth, Texas. We had an absolute blast capturing the essence of his senior year, and I’m very excited to share our experience with you!

David is a homeschool graduate, and he's an accomplished speech and debate competitor with several national titles under his belt. He's a talented young man with a passion for filmmaking that made our session even more fun!

We chose The Kimbell Art Museum and the surrounding Arts District of Fort Worth for our photo shoot because of its unique blend of modern architecture and natural beauty. David is quite the creative as well, so this was the perfect location to show off his personality and style.

David was a total natural in front of the camera, and he brought a super positive attitude to the shoot. His smiles were easy, and his eyes shone bright with thoughts of his future!

At this moment, David is a couple years into his college studies at Union University. He’s actually quite proficient with the camera already, so he knew all the technical terms and even a few great poses! He knew how to make the most of his time in front of the lens, which definitely made my job easier.

While it was helpful for him to have some of this background knowledge, it’s not essential to making a great senior photo session. With my expertise, you can’t go wrong! David’s confidence and comfort in front of the camera simply made my job a little bit easier, and we were able to get a bit more technical with our angles, poses, and backdrops. It was a great experience!

Let's talk about David's hair — it was beyond words! Seriously, it was just so amazing that we just had to showcase it in all its fabulousness. And boy, did it turn out great!

Even with the notorious Texas wind, we managed to capture some incredible shots that showcase David's vibrant personality and his love for the arts. The wind actually worked in our favor, adding some extra lift to his hair and giving us some stunning, dynamic shots that we were over the moon about.

I had such a fantastic time working with David. He’s such a star, and I know that he’s going to shine so brightly in whatever he decides to do in the future. Right now, I’m getting ready to take his little sister’s senior photos, so stay tuned for that post!
